Loading up (deposits)

Your stash is a single balance that pays for every table. Taking a seat sends nothing on-chain. It only sets aside part of the stash for that game, so moving between tables never needs a new deposit.

Funding the stash takes one on-chain deposit.

#What you need first

• —A connected wallet (Connecting a wallet).
• —USDG on Robinhood Chain. USDG is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, issued by Global Dollar. RHR did not create it and does not sell, swap or bridge it, so bring it to Robinhood Chain yourself.
• —A little ETH on Robinhood Chain for gas.

#How to load up

1. 01Open your profile page (/me) and choose deposit.
2. 02Enter an amount. The minimum is 1 USDG, and the form always shows the current minimum.
3. 03Confirm in your wallet. Depending on the token you see one or two confirmations: an approval that lets the vault pull USDG from your wallet, then the deposit itself. Check the approval amount in the prompt and prefer approving only what you are depositing.
4. 04Wait for the transaction to confirm. The server watches the chain and credits your stash after a few confirmations, so expect a short wait.

The site can only propose the transaction. It cannot sign for you or move your funds on its own.

#Only use the deposit button

Only deposit through the cashier. A plain USDG transfer to the vault's address is not a deposit. The vault credits balances only through its deposit functions, so a stray transfer is credited to nobody and may be impossible to recover.

The vault also has a function that deposits on behalf of another address. If you use it, the money lands in that address's stash, not yours.

#Checking your deposit

Your deposit shows up in your stash once the server has seen it with enough confirmations. You can also check it yourself. Every deposit is a public transaction on the explorer, and your balance in the vault is readable on-chain, so you never have to take anyone's word for it.

If a deposit has confirmed on-chain but your stash has not moved, give it a few minutes. The server waits for confirmations so that a chain reorganisation cannot credit money that then disappears.

#Gas, in plain words

Gas is the fee for any on-chain transaction: deposits, withdrawals, jackpot and staking claims, staking and minting. You pay it in ETH on Robinhood Chain. Playing games costs no gas, because games run off-chain and are checkpointed to the vault in batches.
